I bought this one on Bonus Offer... I like that gold embossing.

Check out these 3 I just bought. I messaged the seller to confirm they were as issued and not copys... Will update when they come in but if I got them all for $8.10 and have bonus offers and cash back on top of that, I think I stole them...

Nice! For that price, you got a terrific deal. And you got it from one of our SCCS member dealers, Lee Quast. [smile]

Here's another good deal -- B-7. One of the BEP's first official cards. I've always liked the collage of eight different notes -- that required four separate press runs: black, green, and orange in intaglio and the blue Treasury seal in offset. Ken Barr has this listed at $50, but it can be yours today for the low, low price of $8.50 with free shipping!

Today, instead of a good deal on a single card I'm letting you know about a good deal on a BAZILLION cards. (Maybe not an entire bazillion, but I didn't count.)

Falmouth Stamp & Coin is offering a 40% discount on the majority of their their souvenir card inventory until the end of the month. The offer was going to expire July 4, but they were kind enough to extend it to July 31. This is a tremendous deal on a very large inventory, including some rare cards that even Ken Barr does not have in stock. And some new items are expected to be posted next week.

I recommend taking a look at the whole website, even it you aren't in the market. There's some really interesting material posted there.

I had previously found this website. I like all of their high resolution images!

So this card is not exactly cheap, but it's definitely a good deal. B-3 Fresno 1969 is one of the earliest BEP cards issued and it's one of the *key* cards in the entire series. You rarely see it offered for under $100 (Ken Barr is asking $150). But this one is listed at under $60! I doubt you will ever find it for less.

Greg he accepted a $40 offer and I was able use a 15% off coupon because he had it listed in collectibles. Then ebay bucks and cash back on top of that so I think I got a good deal here! Lol

Thanks for the tip.

Damn! That's about the best deal on a single Fresno card I've ever heard of. Well played!

Definitely an awesome steal....  But I still have you beat.  I got mine as part of a bulk deal.  It included B1 thru B33, a couple forerunners, 16 PS cards which were minor except for PS-1 and a single semi-official card.  53 cards for $81 = $1.52 per card.

Since I got lucky on that deal, that means I will have to pay through the nose for anything else.  That's how my luck runs.

Berny I grabbed the lot, thanks! Although I probably have a few of the cards, at less than $3 per still a great deal. Most are obsolete notes cards that I don't have. Will need to update later. [smile]

As some new collectors are probably realizing, the more recent BEP cards are tougher to find at good prices. But they do pop up occasionally. Here are three from 2007-08 from the same dealer, all great deals. The 2008 FUN has a fantastic full engraving of DeSoto.

At the risk of irking some potential bidders, I'll point out this dealer with a number of better cards on auction, most at very reasonable minimums. No bids yet... https://www.ebay.com/sch/gcurtisenterprises/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

A seldom seen booklet:

That's one I'm watching closely and might bid on. It's unusual for a Union booklet -- except for the cover engraving by American Bank Note, all the bound etchings are art prints.

This seller has a couple nice cards going for $5.99 each -- less than half the typical retail:

Wow, here's a great deal if bidding stays low:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1915-WORLDS-FAIR-PANAMA-PACIFIC-INTL-EXPO-DIPLOMA-INTAGLIO-PRINT-REPRODUCTION/323491582412

This is actually B-188, an oversized card (11x14") featuring the central vignette from the 1915 Panama-Pacific award diploma. It's a gorgeous engraving. It looks like there's a corner ding, but it doesn't appear to be a crease.

This card retails for $70; minimum bid is $3.99 and it currently has no bids.

Berny...interesting booklet. Do you own it ? Wish I did.
Greg...thanks. Love good deals on souvenir cards.
Here’s a more recent BEP version framed and hanging in office. Very cool.

Bought that one (B188) with some others with Best Offers. I paid $30 on a $40 BIN price. Also got the '97 IPMS B220 ($20) that is almost a smaller version of of that card, has the 2 side females almost identical and the central figure with minor differences (she has an added scroll in her hands). Both bought because of their beautiful ladies! [smile]

I'm going to put a low bid on that card, so it doesn't get away. But I won't bid any higher if someone else wants it.
