A new stock certificate arrived today that I really like. It's a 1919 cert for the Verde Combination Copper Company; their mines were close to Jerome, AZ. But I bought this one for another reason -- it shares the same vignette as the first semi-official souvenir card, SO-1.

This is quite a detailed vignette when you study it, from the dog and donkey to the piece of bread the miner is holding. They even added some depth by extending his foot beyond the frame. And the stock answers a question I had. The souvenir card card was issued in 1966 by U.S. Bank Note Corp., but the stock certificate was printed by Republic Bank Note, so that's where the engraving originated. Republic merged with Security Bank Note in 1942, a predecessor of USBNC.

This got me thinking about what other souvenir cards share vignettes with stocks and bonds. There are actually quite a few, but I had to do a lot of comparison between my collections.

This nice portrait of a girl (by British American Bank Note) appears on a rare card, SO-29C, and on a stock for Francana Oil & Gas.

The vignette on W-17 appears on several stocks including the Manufactured Rubber Co.

The eagle on W-59 shows up with a re-engraved background on a stock for American Fruit Distributors.

The eagle in the oval on MB-73 is shown uncropped on a stock for Blackfarm Company, printed by Security Bank Note Co.

The vignette of Progress by American Bank Note appears on both SO-6 and a stock certificate of U.S. Plywood Corp.

I'll post others as time allows.

"America", featured on SO-75, also shows up on a Baltimore & Ohio Railroad stock.

Found another match! So this was originally an ABNC vignette.
