Spent a few years collecting cool notes and this is the first truly cool note I've found! I plan on keeping it for a while but curious about it's value? Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20200517_140751871.jpg, Views: 35, Size: 2.23 MB

That's funny, in this same site their are posts about $1 bills getting $20+ must be $20s are super common I guess...

Welcome to the forum.  Don’t let the fact that your note is only worth face value stop you from continuing to look for notes that you feel are special.  Every collection is different from another person’s.

If you prefer to collect only circulated notes, try to find them in better condition.  Also if you have a good relationship with the tellers at your bank, ask them to hold aside notes they find with the serial numbers and conditions you desire and they may help you.

I don't mind at all, if it's worth 20 it's worth 20. Just crazy to see $1s on eBay selling for 15 but a 20 is only worth a 20. Again, planned on keeping it just because I like saving cool notes regardless of value!

it's easily worth more than face value, but the condition holds it back.

A cool serial # number on a $1 has a face of $1, so $15 is a huge $14 profit
To get that kind of profit from a $20 it would need to sell for $280… percentage wise that is.

it’s easy to sell for $15 if you only have $1 invested,  and it’s easy to buy a cool serial # number for $15 dollars even if it is only a $1 bill.
Plus condition is everything.

i don’t know, if that makes any sense, just a thought

still very cool,  I would keep it, 👍.
Even if you got 25% over face that is still only $25

I am not really into crazy serials and such but that is a true flipper and I like it, especially for face. So many flippers, aren't...

Of course, the Holy Grail would be the solid 8 note, which would be a solid radar flipper super repeater...

With being a true ying yang, I think you could get at least $30 out of it. If it was UNC. $100
IMO

Nice find. It’s hard to find really good stuff in the wild with a network of people sending you stuff...

Bought one of these (solid 8's) one time from a bank teller in VF/XF condition - gave her a cool $500 profit ($501)  for it and made her day .   😎
