Is there a way to look up topics on specific things? How would I find other Hawaii note collectors or fractional currency collectors? First day hate starting new things

@BestestDad Works pretty smooth with the search option at the top of any page or string, as well as the 1st page. It's the little spyglass symbol.

Welcome! Before long it will feel like a familiar place and it is not a complicated site. Although, there are so many posts and threads overall that it can be a bit overwhelming.

Yes as Dan mentioned there is a search function that you can click from the menu bar / ribbon located at the top of every page on the forum. Once you click the search button it will take you to the search page where there is several filters you can apply or just enter the keywords you are interested in and run the search. The main thing I would make sure you select is that I would search for "Topics" and not "Posts" if you are trying to find old threads that cover Hawaii notes or Fractional Currency.

This is the URL: https://www.papermoneyforum.com/search

Can't I just let myself forget what you've told me? Can't I just let myself forget what you've made me do? You think I just want another puzzle to solve? Another John B. to look for? You're John B. So you can be my John B...will I lie to myself to be happy? In your case @tigertrader ...yes I will.

Welcome, and there was a song written about a Sloop John B by the Beach Boys:

We come on the Sloop John B
My grandfather and me
Around Nassau town we did roam
Drinking all night
Got into a fight
Well I feel so broke up
I want to go home

So hoist up the John B's sail
See how the main sail sets
Call for the Captain ashore
Let me go home, let me go home
I want to go home, yeah yeah
Well I feel so broke up
I want to go home

The first mate he got drunk
And broke in the Cap'n's trunk
The constable had to come and take him away
Sheriff John Stone
Why don't you leave me alone, yeah yeah
Well I feel so broke up, I want to go home

So hoist up the John B's sail
See how the main sail sets
Call for the Captain ashore
Let me go home, let me go home
I want to go home, let me go home
Why don't you let me go home
(Hoist up the John B's sail)
Hoist up the John B
I feel so broke up I want to go home
Let me go home

The poor cook he caught the fits
And threw away all my grits
And then he took and he ate up all of my corn
Let me go home
Why don't they let me go home
This is the worst trip I've ever been on

So hoist up the John B's sail
See how the main sail sets
Call for the Captain ashore
Let me go home, let me go home
I want to go home, let me go home
Why don't you let me go home
