I've had to re-scan some notes after a computer meltdown, and thought I would share a few favorites.
After looking for a long time, I finally found this nice $5 Plain Back Red Seal at the right price. Fall River has a population of close to 90,000 and sits down in the heel of Massachusetts' "boot". It was one of the country's largest textile manufacturing centers in the 19th century, and also the site of the Lizzie Borden ax murder trial in 1893 (she got off). There's a wonderful maritime museum in the inner harbor that includes the mammoth battleship USS Massachusetts, which I was able to tour some years ago.
This is a common bank for Red Seals, but the quality here was irresistible.
The value of anything is what you can sell it for the same day you bought it.
