I thought you would like those Danny!

I saw a ZZ....Z 10,000 (I think) a few months ago, properly identified/attributed and I didn't win it. When I was scrolling high grade world notes the serial on the 5,000 jumped out at me and I promptly investigated the other listings and found the other 1,000. I have looked so long for one example and I would have taken anything. To be able to find 2 such incredible examples has added some pep to my collecting step! ðŸ˜Ž

However, in these lofty grades even the regular notes are not cheap so I didn't get a huge rip on these but I probably would have paid 2x what I did. Who can complain about that!

Not sure how many in this board collect Egypt, but this note is — hands down — the country’s hardest replacement note.  So I thought I’d share. 1981 5 Pounds, with the prefix/serial above the frame at left. Have never seen another one anywhere other than the photo in Hanafy’s book.  Enjoy! Click image for larger version - Name: F3149D02-C7AD-454A-8820-D71A879E0B8D.jpeg, Views: 13, Size: 2.42 MB
