I am sure it seems like this is the thread that just won't go away. [tongue]

Anyway, here is the new $50. Another upgrade...the 65EPQ was just too out of place. What is really odd, this 66EPQ note cost less than the 65EPQ note.  [confused]

(Note: Another G- Prefix)

Incoming notes!

New Bahamas $50 note, now in circulation! $100 note expected in November, which would leave the $5 note as the last remaining bill to be updated.

Looks like it is literally going to have a see through window on the Parliament bldg. 😎
I googled that feature and found some Canada 🇨🇦 and Australia 🇦🇺 notes also with the see through feature.
Very cool

FINALLY found a graded 2015 $1 Bahamas note. Down to just two more "modern" bills, plus these new $50 and $100 notes coming out this Fall. Then the only thing left will be to find the big notes from the 1980's and 1990's.

Also started my Gibraltar collection today.

Jim,

Yes, I see that. Nice! I think this was from a nice run. I should probably track these like I do $5 FRN runs.

I think I am going to stop posting new notes. I have a bunch of new ones in, but I think it might be better to reveal them all at once. I am going to get my whole collection put in new holders (with proper sizing of the the world holders) at the FUN show (or at list I hope to at the show) and finally turn on the Commonwealth section of my website. Probably just wait and post all the new purchases then.

Holy crap! Look at all those packs of old Bahamas notes...and the “rare” $100’s...

https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/lots?sort=numismatic_order&parent_category=1-11EIX&limit=96&lots_range=upcoming&jump_to_lot_id=3-L97C7

Good thing I waited to buy the rare stuff. Who in the their right mind brings that many $100 1992 Series 66 EPQ’s to light and then puts them all in the same auction!?

See, this is why we really have to be careful letting population reports guide our purchases...give stuff time and it seems like it starts to come out of the woodwork. 😳
