I am guessing you get 10 notes from picture #2

The seller is scamming all the bidders.  People placed bids before that additional statement was added thinking they would get all the notes shown in all the photos.

The seller only intends to pick out the 10 lowest value and nastiest notes and maximize his profit and rip off the buyer.

What is even worse is that EBay will not cancel this auction as fraud so it does no good to even report it.

These kind of garbage postings are common on the coin side, but a bit more rare on the paper side. Regardless, the buyer gets swindled. I would imagine this is a scam at $25, much less the current going rate.

I do some 14K-15K listing views each week. I have to say this is one of the 1st I have seen in recent times. You are right it is prevalent on the coin side, has been for some time. But on the currency side it's just silly to think you'll get ANY bargain! But in the same respect, as MANY here hate it, the buyer can request a refund and likely get it in this case.

Return request would be through eBay, not the seller. Or better yet with Paypal.

Regardless of seller's return policy, a claim can be opened through paypal and WILL be approved. A little more difficult through Ebay, so it's quicker to go straight to paypal.

Description says "everything you see in the pictures is part of lots from us, and everything has to go!". With that said, maybe you will get lucky and get all the notes in pic#1.

Listing also states "This seller is currently away until Jan 01, 2020", so of course they can't answer any questions while the auction runs it's course.

Hopefully the buyer will return the notes after they are received and get back their money. This auction might even be like some others recently described in other threads where the item is never even mailed to the winning bidder.

Indeed, methinks many of us know exactly who owns that $500 rainbow ...
