I'm just a stupid Republican that is trying to make sense of why anyone of any party would defend and coddle a divisive, vulgar, insecure, self serving person such as the one currently occupying the White House. He has simply destroyed my way of life. That is a fact that you, nor anyone else can reasonably dispute. I farm. I ranch. And I dairy, and I am hurting financially, that is the only reason I am selling currency that I have had in my possession for decades, yet, I never saw where you appreciated that I work 365 days a year, rain, shine, sleet, or snow to put high quality, cheap food on your table. You seem determined to help wipe out family farms by blindly serving this president. Give me a real Republican candidate and I'm with you. But don't try to push trump down my throat by using debunked, or any other conspiracy theories.

Respectfully, I believe most of this belongs in the off topic forum. Please delete most of this and take it to the off topic forum if you want to discuss it.

"free and open discussion"   what has this got to do with paper money collecting????? The main posters have contributed NOTHING to paper money...just a site to drive home their political views. Go to a chat room or email...but that's not good enough. They want their views made public. The moderators basically acquiesed by creating an off topic to hide behind some kind of "free speech" umbrella..don't look if you don't like it etc....made up topics were created to hopefully drive the political stuff onto the next page..but that hasn't worked....and yes moderators, this discord carries over into the tone of many other threads and further alienates contributing paper money collectors.

Other than random Friday, they were made up topics to justify "off topic"...a category created to move toxic threads (dominated by members who contribute nothing to paper money) somewhere else.

That is not entirely true. Some that did factor into the Off Topic section being created but off topic discussion had occurred many times in the main forum and creating a separate place for "all" of that was the reasoning behind it. It had been brought up and considered years before the divisiveness of late. When it was considered at the time, it was decided to make a separate space for it. AND HERES THE BEST PART, if you click the little X out beside the Category listing on the main page, Poof they will disappear and you will never have to see them or know of them again. It is also only accessible and able to be seen be registered members so no lurkers can see it.

I don't believe anyone "made up" anything they genuinely did not want to discuss. I know 100% that was never directed by me...

Well fellas, I think this quarantine covid stuck in the house and barking at everyone has made its way to the forum.  I even see myself posting comments that I normally would not.  So, to quote a phrase from the late Rodney King, "Can't we just all get along!"

Thank you, Tiger. Did you mean the part that you quoted, or all of it? I am good with however you see fit. Please PM me if there is a problem, or if I need to remove more. Thanks.

Thanks for editing it, I do appreciate it!

Only the quoted part needed to be edited and you are free to say it in the off topic area. However even though you can, I have been open that I prefer both sides, not...

What if you just want to avoid just certain threads within the Off Topic area ?  In other words, I tried clicking on the X and it also eliminated threads I enjoyed reading and contributing to...so I un-clicked it. Sort of like a line item veto.
