Check this out.    Already at 3x the top end of the estimate.   The pop report shows 27 notes graded, 8 @65, 2 @66 and 2@ 67.    Can someone explain this to me?    Thanks

It's a head scratcher....and is that a mark on the front or a piece of wood pulp? Either way, it's a bit distracting.Must be that at least 2 bidders just won't let go.It has happened with numeral seals before.

My only guess would be this could happen anytime you get two or more spirited bidders with their sights set on owning the note. I’ve been there and overpaid on more than one occasion.

That price is insane. It’s not a rarity. And it’s not a top pop, not even a second top pop. It doesn’t make any sense to me.❓❓❓

I enjoyed watching that one, especially since my example was bought recently at $600!! ❤️

looks better than 65 by a mile. Maybe some handling held it back I wonder??

Chunk looks like wood pulp to me too.

...may have to put mine on eBay for last night’s underbidder.

Since no one mentioned this yet, there appears to be a small corner bend on the back side bottom left.  Is anyone else detecting this?

Does appear it could be, but it doesn't show on the front. Could be a slight scuff?
