Hey forum friends...

I just set up a new Face Book Group for Small Size U.S. Paper Money Varieties!

This is my favorite area to collect and I’ve really wanted to get this going the last few months. There are sooo many other groups flooded w/ semi-fancy SN trinaries and modern circulated star notes. That’s great for folks who love that stuff, but it was driving me mad. 😃

If you are on FB please consider joining the group. Better yet, post a few notes if you have varieties you’re willing to share! This is a niche area and I imagine the group will take a while to get off the ground.

I wish I didn't loathe the concept and behavior of Facebook, Twitter, and the like... good luck getting a, shall we say, more serious group going for small size rather than the groups for crinkled $20 notes with three of a kind someone got in change at a Cheesecake Factory... those folks are everywhere (at least at some forums so I gotta imagine they are all over Facebook).

MEC2 ...FB is littered with that sort of spender material. Myself and the other Admins will swiftly drop the hammer on those posts 🔨

Tiger, that’s an awesome idea! Once the group hits a decent number, say maybe 100-200 members I’ll plug the forum. Then I’ll do it again at 1000.

I know some other folks who set up a FB account using a Nom De Plume due to work requirements or other privacy needs. Might be an option if you still want to join?

I like that its a private group and love your rules! I need to enforce the horizontal picture rule in the NBN group. We make people answer 3 easy questions before joining the NBN group. It keeps out a lot of the riff raff but occasionally you get a space case in there.

Would be interested but these rules are not quite snobby enough.

Yeah see I should be all over this group but the jackwagons at Facebook are not to be trusted with any personal information whatsoever... sigh. I shall admire it from afar...

I deleted my Facebook ( I have another name for them) account last year, because they censor conservative speech.

I will take a look though.

I have to have an account o see what you have, so never mind. I want nothing to do with FB.

You can make a fake profile with a burner email. There are several big names in groups with assumed identities. They messaged me first telling me the name and I let them in.

I've got it. Here is a good way to keep the "riff raff" out. Just post this as the banner for the group page.

Hey @Cody71086

I like the way you formatted the rules listed on the NBN Group. I’m going to adjust mine so they follow the same look. 👏

I just bought a raw 1934C "old back" $20. I'm hoping it comes back 64Q whenever I send it off. I think it was a good buy @less than $15 over face. Thoughts?

Hard to argue with a potential 64Q $20 for $15 over face...
