Any $1 to $20 St Louis 1918 FRBN with serial H46A. Mike Crabb had the ace and $50. I traded for the $50 but the ace got away from me so would love the chance to put the pair together. I think there is a chance the deuce may also exist altho its not recorded in anything I've seen.
And as usual, actively looking for St Louis metro (MO and IL banks) and Evansville IN. VP, assistant cashiers and autographed notes (esp on larger banks) as well as sheets, the usual, better STL metro large size and hi denoms (except chtr 5002) always of interest. Ephemera from any of "my" banks are also of interest especially if they deal with currency/operations. .
Here's a few (but not all) specific items of interest in no particular order:
Mo side of St Louis Area
Mercantile NB (charter 9297) low/lower serial numbers, $50 or 100 from plate A, and any note with actual autographs vs overprinted sigs.
On 170 any 1902 DB $100 and especially any $50 or $100 with serials of 1000 or less.
Clayton MO small size for charter 12333 - type I $5 with Ruehl as prez and type II $5 and $20
1907 Panic scrip, altho fairly complete on 4178 and 170.
6773 Washington NB of StL. with good sigs
A 1929 $10 sheet for Boatmans
St Charles (260) type IIs and early large
Illinois side of metro STL smalls: charters 1428 (as if) and 13735 (Marissa). Collinsville (6125) 1902 with plate date of 1902
Evansville IN, primarily large, obsoletes and especially a 1902 date back $20 on charter 2188 which oughta be common but one hasn't come my way..
Always interested in St Louis MO & IL metro and Evansville IN paper money, scrip, financial docs, banking ephemera, etc. Also collect Latvian 1915 - 1940 city and national paper money by block letter/variety
Here's the Ruehl sig for 12333. I need the $5 type I with this sig only and type 2 $5 and 20 with any signature. Wouldn't mind upgrading my type II $10.
Thanks for looking!
